splitting driveshaft observation 700

Recently I posted a question asking about the driveshaft on my 1986 760 T.
I split my driveshaft forgetting to mark it. The question was if I would have a lot of vibration if I put it back like that. I was told there are 2 positions in which the driveshaft should go, with the yokes parallel to each other in each of those position so a 50/50 chance of having it right. Another answer was to rebalance it.
Well today I looked inside the splines of the rear half. at one place there is one spline missing so the space is double between those adjacent splines. I looked on the front half and what do you know? 2 splines are joined together. So this shows me how the driveshaft should be reassembled.
Now I am posting this and wondering that if you don't have the arrows indicating how the driveshaft should go like on mine you should probably have the feature I got on my driveshaft.
I am posting this so maybe it could help someone in the future.
Did anyone else observe that?
