89 740 turbo wagon - oil in air intake? 700 1989

I went to clean the Throttle Body and noticed when I took the large air intake tube/hose off, there seemed to be "fresh" oil sitting in the bottom of the whitish colored plastic elbow coming off the intercooler. That doesn't seem right to me. Hope it doesn't point to a bad turbo. Any ideas?

ps: cleaning the TB didn't help the idle stalling. Guess it's off to check the IAC.
