740GLE with CR-814 radio 700

My daughter has an 89 740gle 16 valve. We ordered a radio from an internet salvage yard. It seems to work but we can't get the speakers to work. The speakers are good and are hooked up but we can't figure why they are not getting the power. The radio is a CR-814 and I'm wondering if the wiring harness has a different configuration than whatever car this radio came out of. If so how do I get the wiring diagram?
