I have a couple Amazons and 1967 220 and a 1968 130. The wagon is my restomod 1800E hybrid and the 68 is my mainly stock daily driver.
I put a short-throw shifter and tunnel extension into the 220 last fall and while I can't drive the car currently, it looks dang nice. I was able to fit 1800 carpeting and the tunnel carpet worked fairly well (See Pic)

Yes, that carpet is yet another save from JohnMC's old 1800E (I waste nothing!)
I recently got a short throw shifter set (gearbox lid and short shifter arm) and once I order a new shift boot and tunnel sheet metal I'll be ready to do a similar mod to my 1968 130. I do not have another set of 1800 carpet laying about and I worry about the appearance of draping indoor/outdoor carpeting over the "hump."
I seem to recall someone once saying that a molded 140 carpet kit fits pretty well into an Amazon and since the tunnel sheet metal is for a 140, I thought that this might solve my problem and give me a nicer looking interior to boot.
Trouble is, I can't find anyone selling 140 carpet kits. Everyone seems to start up with the 240s.
Does anyone know of a good source for such carpet? Or perhaps have a better suggestion?
Thanks as always
