I went to a some-what local junkyard over the weekend to get parts for both my car and my dads. Goal: New Grill for my car, interior roof handle covers for his, a seat in relatively good shape, back logos, and good trim.
Miraculously, there was one junkyard in a fifty mile radius that had a 240. It had a mid-80's 240 which was, at first, the only one we found. With the older stylings and not-too-good of shape, we were pretty angry, and then, like a glistening glacier we saw a cool, ice-blue volvo 240 (1989).
We got a plethora of parts from a volvo that should not have been junked. It had (still) absolutely zero rust, and was the most lush colour with interior that was pristine.
Such a shame.
we ended up with a plethora of random parts that we needed, plus the seat and paid 100 for everything. It was truly a steal. I was quite excited.
I also bought some bondo restore black for my car this weekend, which I began using. Very, very efficient and simple to use. Looks awesome to
QUESTION:
should I, in your guys' opinions, use the restore black on the gray trim surrounding the bottom of the car?
