I know there are a ton of old posts on this, but I cannot get the responses to pull up. My wipers went from working fine, to working slowly, to not moving at all. I could hear a slightly squeaking sound before they gave it up. Also, I took the cover off of the top of the steering column and turned the wipers to slow. A small whisp of smoke came out of the area of the electrical box that the stem goes into. Should I A) replace this small electric part B) replace the motor on the firewall or C) follow the advice that is sure to follow in the comments? Thanks for any help!
