V8 Ford into 68 122 pt Deux 120-130

I know y'all though I gave up! No, just all sorts of interruptions. I got to have my thumb cut open next week. (on purpose this time) I really don't know how functional it will make my hands but should stop a lot of the pain.

So, we have one door repaired and back on the car for a test fitting. But really not a whole lot has gotten done in the past 3 months. It is really hard to start back up once you stop. It is just so overwhelming if you stop to think about what you are doing. I'm pretty happy with the way the right door came out!

I did a bit of mechanical to ease back in, held up by not having the right size seal drivers, but that is not a big deal. Found out new rotors are pretty pricey, looking at saving the junk we have at hand. Don't know about the calipers, says rebuild kits are about $80 but a rebuilt caliper is $100 + core. I don't see any reason to do it myself, unless I'm reading the price lists wrong. Also, what are they talking about single and dual circuit? That just the master cylinder they mean? There is a good pic of the brakes I have at the end.

I'm thinking about putting the motor in place, and seeing if the headers will fit. Almost thinking about putting it on the crossmember and jacking the whole thing in place. We will see, I'm going to be down for at least 2 weeks!

Part 11 of the story!
