The AC clutch in my car (96 960 sedan) has been making rattling noice for a while. I finally got a chance last night to take a good look at it. The three sheet metal "spring" things which connect the outer clutch plate to the center piece (which is bolted to the center shaft) are broken, thus leaving the outer clutch plate just hanging and randomly spinning with the pulley. I managed to pull it out. There is a number stempped on the clutch. It reads: A2W56R. The model number of the compressor is: SD7H15. All the compressors in the local junkyard have different clutch settings (with a tri-anglar outer plate and three pegs with rubber material in it. Does anyone have a good source for AC clutch? Thanks for your help. The car is resting in the garage. I had to pull the radiator, the AC condensor and a bunch of other things. Erwin
