Hello everyone. It's been a while since I've been here on the Brickboard, but for good reason. The wife and I have separated, with the intention of divorce. We're working things out now and discussing various agreements to include assets and debt. Seems our debt outweighs our cash-based assets, so it's time to start digging deeper. We've been putting various things up for sale on eBay to help, and I'm now investigating the possibility of selling my Old Lady.
See here for details:

I obviously will want advice on finding the highest offer - be that eBay, word-of-mouth, Craigs List, or Brickboard. I'd want to get around $20k for her if possible. This is far less than I spent restoring her, but I figure I'll never recoup that amount anyway. I'd like to auction her too since I feel a bidding war is totally what she's worth. :)
The Old Lady is practically 100% complete. She starts every time and the engine purrs nicely. There are a few minor items missing, not chromed or not finished, but will go into detail on these items when the time is right.
I'll be sad to see her go, but I know that whoever gets her next will have one awesome car with a really cool history. I don't feel bad about selling my Dad's car because when it comes down to it, he probably wouldn't have wanted me to restore it in the first place since the money I invested into her was illogical. :)
Thank you in advance and long live Volvo!
Sincerely,
Tony Scarola
