New (Used) Camshaft 700

Hey all! I am making a trip to Pick-n-Pull tomorrow, and was curious about camshafts. I was interested in the ipd turbo camshaft, but i heard the affects would not be the same as on a turbo car. I have a 1990 Volvo 740 GL N/A, so if I want a camshaft that will give me better performance, what kind should I get? Or moreover, what year/model should I get it out of?
