1990DL 240 non ABS brake problem Return of the Full Pedal 200

In a galaxy far far away . . . The return of a full pedal and no brake failure light is a mystery to me. I posted a thread a while back and got really great advice from all (esp Art Bernstein). I finally got back on the project after a bit of time had passed, and too my surprise the brakes are back after 1 master cylinder and more brake bleeds than I care to admit.

I had a soft pedal and a brake failure light originally, replaced the MC and power bled the brakes with no change so I bled away, looked for leaks, checked the rubber lines, and was going to dead head the MC today. So with the weather finally being good I went back to it. I got in started her up, pumped the brakes a few times and it seemed better. Opened the hood, had a hard time opening the reservoir cap, like there was pressure on it. Saw a few minute bubbles in the fluid, and all was well. I should play the lottery with my luck running good. I am waiting. sort of, for the other shoe to drop, this may raise its ugly head again but for now I am back driving her again. I wonder if those few bubbles were the cause?

Anyway thanks for all the help.

Fred
