Mystery hose 1800 1970

Good morning Bricksters. I recently bought a '70 P1800 and had it towed home. Though getting it running, including sorting out the injection, didn't pose too much of a problem, there is a single hose I cannot figure out. This is a 1/4" line connected to the front of the intake plenum on the fender side of the plenum. It is routed through the front bulkhead and dangles near the front of the air cleaner opening, stoppered with a bolt and a bunch of electrical tape. I haven't removed the grill as yet to clean things up in there, but peering down in front of the hood I cannot find anything this might have connected to and the diagrams I have of the injection don't indicate it exists! Any clues would be appreciated.
Thanks,
DS
