Still fighting oil leaks in my brother's 242. We got the flame trap problem fixed and that slowed things down considerably. After about 5,000 miles, things have picked up again.

Looking at the car last weekend, I noticed that there was oil on the inside of the hood at the left rear. We wiped it off and its coming back. Has anyone seen this before? If so where did it come from.

Next thing is belt (due anyway) and front seals. Frankly, there is so much gunk from past leaks in and under the car that its difficult to see whats recent and whats not.

All suggestions welcome.
