No reverse lights on m47 transmission 200

Have a issue with no reverse lights on 1991 5 speed m47 transmission. bought the car last winter. I had to rebuilt the alternator, have no power steering, a problem for another day. I am trying to get the car inspected. Are there known issues, maybe the reverse switch. Bulbs are ok. If it is the switch What do i need to do to replce it
