95 960 Brake Overhaul 900

I had my 95 960 in for a full brake diagnostic and am trying to decide what needs to be done. I am also trying to understand whether to use Volvo or aftermarket parts, and if so, which ones are the better choice.

All four rotors and pads were replaced with original Volvo parts in 2005, 57,000 kms ago.

On this car, the Volvo mechanic has recommended new rotors, calipers, pads, and front high pressure flex hoses. The calipers and high pressure flex hoses are original. How do know whether to replace the calipers??

Which is the best source for these parts, Volvo or after market? Which specific brands and models of after market? The shop wants $1045 for all these, installed.

Also, the control arm bushings are toast. Can I buy just the bushings? Is it better to replace the entire control arm rather than just the bushing? I was quoted $626. for the front control arm bushings. Seems too high. Same question here re Volvo or aftermarket bushing or indeed entire control arm.

Ideas appreciated to sift through it all.
