gas smell in oil 200 1991

I have replaced the fuel pressure regulator, changed the oil and filter but still have a gas smell from the oil dipstick. No check engine light and the car is running well. Starts right up and has plenty of power. I was going to replace the fuel injector seals next. The cars has 187,000. Any other ideas? Thanks, George
