Hi folks,

I believe my folks' Honda Accord has a failed distributor. My Dad was driving, and the CEL lit up and the tach dropped to zero, yet the car continued to run (with no power). A few hundred yards later it stalled. It restarted fine and made the trip home, and the CEL was off.

I have not retrieved the codes (OBD1) nor do I know how.

Thanks for any input or suggestions.
