1992 rough idle, sometimes 200

On a 1992 automatic sedan with 200k the motor runs rough at idle sometimes. The car runs great otherwise. Idles perfectly smooth most of the time but sometimes at a red light it will run rough and almost stall. Is is common practice to remove the IAC motor and clean it like the pre 89 models? Thank You in advance.
