'90 740. I am getting the constant power to the antenna but not the signal power. I checked the antenna using my other car and it works.
I noticed that the antenna was sometimes erratic, now it's stopped altogether, in the down position. One time, not at band camp, I flipped the antenna off/on switch on the dash and it worked, now that has no effect. Therefore I suspect the switch or its wiring, but I wonder about the radio/antenna signal also. I did pull the radio but didn't notice anything out of place.
I have looked through the faq and done some searches. I don't see how to take the switch out. I think it's easy, but not obvious to me anyway. I could not get my hand up inside from the back, too much in there.
