Sealed connector for trans and oil temp sensors? 200

Hello BB Folks,

Finally got to installing the gauges and moving the radio down the lower slot. The last part of the project is hooking up the sensor for the transmission temp sensor by draining the tranny and replacing the pan nut with the one that has the sensor in it.

By just adding a wire onto the lug will give me the reading I am looking for, but not real thrilled with a wire under the bottom of the car that is not insulated or protected. We have had a 9 and 5.5 inch rain in the last two weeks, and Inga did have to wade a couple of inches of water one afternoon. Got to thinking about having a sending unit with 12 volts connected under the car aimed at the pavement.

The question is after all that rambling:

Is there a sealed connection you can use for the oil and transmission temp sending units?

Checked around at the local auto stores and on EGauge.com. Have not seen anything for sure where you would go, That will do it.

Looking for ideas and and where you got it, I know there has to be a better way.

Thanks in advance for your help and Regards,

Paul
