I've been offered a free 940 low miles turbo w/ tranny. The wagon is shot with rust and dents in every fender/door. ( NaCl H20) sportswoman.)
I've read lots of post of people want to upconvert, but can I down convert this motor into a 940 sedan NA with a great body but a bad knock, BHG, a leaking freeze plug and 50k higher mileage?
I'm not sure I'm experienced enough to mod the AW 70 turbo and 70L in the NA (plus I like the locking feature) so I'd just switch the "short block" from the donor car and used the NA FI and sensors.
Any thoughts
