My daughter has a 1992 740 SW with a clattering engine. It clatters most at startup, then quiets down when oil gets up to the valve train.
I have a spare rebuilt B230 head in storage...should I exchange it for the clattering head?
Anything to look out for?

It works OK.....Should I change the HEAD? 700 1992
