From Failed Emmisions to No Start...AAARRRGGG!!! 200 1993

OK...Is my car dying a slow death? I went from failed emmisions/running rich to not starting! As soon as I thought i had it figured out, the engine died and will not restart. It will turn over everytime. It almost seems like she isn't getting enough fire. Plugs are wet and plenty of fuel is getting to the engine.

The timeline...I was running the car, just checking conditions after reconnecting the FPR the previous weekend. FPR flowed strong and smoothe. I noticed the electrical connection to my AC compressor was loose...jiggled it a little, compressor kicked on...YEA, summer is coming to Tennessee. A few minutes later, engine just died.

Possible culprits...

1. Battery was on the brink and compressor starting up might have pulled too much power than the alternator was able to send.

2. Plugs were rather "sootie" from running rich. I pulled them cleaned them, checked the gap...all seemed well. Checked the fire on #1, burned more orange than blue.

3. Disconnected catalytic convertor incase it was clogged. All that did was cause the engine to backfire.

4. Throttle body is a bit dirty, but it doesn't appear to be that bad. I was going to do the Chinese Water Torture and Seafoam, but the engine died.

I got a brand new battery hoping that would solve the issue. Nope. Although, it turned over quicker and backfired MUCH louder. I plan to change plugs and wires this weekend. Where can I get the throttle body gasket on short notice?

Feel free to ask if I have done such and such...seems like I have pulled everything apart and cleaned almost everything.

I appreciate everyones help in trying to keep my brick running.
