I am changing out my front struts on a 91 940T and I can't get the strut assembly back in? I am using the directions on the FAQs section but there is no details on the install, just on taking them apart/out. I have the entire assembly together but can't get the spring compressed enough to put the strut rod through the top mount. I tried a spring compressor but it left the spring uneven, so that didn't work. I've tried placing a jack under the assembly but it pushes out when the spring compresses.

Any tips or ideas. This is the first time I've done front struts and I pretty sure it will be my last. I just need to get the spring compressed enough to bolt the top strut mount.
