B18 Head on B20 block? Or B20/B18 in Hawaii? 1800

Hi Everyone,

Since I live in Kauai I have limited options. To repair my trashed B18 block, I have the chance to get a rebuilt B20 block from Oahu.

There seems to be a variety of opinions regarding fitting a B18 head to a B20 block. They do fit, but obviously there are differences in the size of the valves, chamber, etc. I'd be interested to hear your opinions.

I'm going to try and get a B20 head, but this is not been easy to do so far.

If anyone knows of a B18 or a B20 sitting in a garage somewhere out here in Hawaii, please let me know! Or even a rehabbed B20 head on the Mainland could work.
