I recently overhauled the wiper moto assembly of my 87 240...one of the magnets fell off its mounting and the carbon brasses were all dirty. It was working fine for a few months until recently. There are a times that both wipers don't move while there are times everything is A-Ok.

What seemed to be the problem? I would appreciate inputs regarding this concern
