Overheat, coolant system pressure knock, then to rod knock 200 1987

While driving home this afternoon...out of nowhere my baby overheats, then I can feel the pressure knocking the coolant hoses. So I pull over and she is scoarching hot, I pull the oil fill cap off to see smoke, I slowly open the coolant tank cap to release the pressure, its empty and then it gets backfilled quite quickly. I've only got 4 miles to go at this point, so I let her sit for 20 mins, get back going, and then at a stop light I get some what sounds to be rod knocking, and shes struggling to idle...stalls out, hard to start back up, so I pull on to a side street and walk home. I go back in an hour, starts right up I get her home but it overheated in the distance of 2 miles. I'm thinking the head gasket is blown, and also the water pump due to the backflow. There is oil in the coolant. Shes only got 127k on her. Any thoughts, advice?

Thnaks,
Bob
