Mine 86 240 GL has a one legger (open differential). I would like drive it on not paved roads in a Death Valley and exploring options with LSD. I understood that those rear 240 Volvos with LSD have the same Dana unit which is on front axle of the Jeep. Have someone did the replacement in the shop and how much did it cost? It certainly does not sound like a shade tree job..
