'94 940 Popping noise when making u-turn or parallel parking 900 1994

i just had almost all of the front end bushings replaced on my '94 940 sedan, which i had hoped would fix the problem. i hear a slight popping noise when parallel parking (swinging the wheel from end to end) or making a u-turn, when on the gas. it wont happen if i am parked and swing the wheel. i hear the noise coming from the front right wheel. does anyone know where i should begin looking? i was thinking it was possible a broken strut mount bushing? any thoughts? thanks again
