Hi friends,
OK, this is not going to be the most exciting post... I changed Boerre's oil for the first time myself today. Tried to follow instructions and did alright until it was time to tighten the new filter.
The instructions said screw it in until it touches, and then 3/4 of a turn. I managed 1/2 of a turn. It's so hard to reach, there is no way I was going to put on more.
I ran the engine and it's fine, no oil seems to be leaking. Can I sleep with no worries?

BTW, I put in synth Mobil 1 5W30 and a Mann filter. At pepboys, I asked advice on 5W30 vs. 10W30. The guy said I should go with Royal Purple, and that he had never heard of Mann. Hmm. Didn't tell me anything sensible about 5 vs. 10W30.

Very excited to finally have Synth in there. Will do the flame trap these days, too.
