This morning I was poking around the board looking for some oil capacities and found a post about specifically NOT using Royal Purple synthetics in Volvo boxes. I've been running RP products for a lot of years and this caught me by surprise so I called them. The post is not incorrect, just incomplete. The caution is to avoid using the product in Volvo heavy equipment and truck 5 speeds, not the cars. Synchromax from RP is great in the M47. Just to be sure, I sent them a message asking about the M46's OD. I think I've actually got it in one of those too, but I'll post back with the response. I started using it as our local speed shop doesn't stock Redline MTL (nor does anyone I've found locally). Anyone else running Synchromax out there?
