This weekend I plan on getting the AC in my 240 working. The parts I plan to replace are listed below:
evaporator
expansion valve
drier
suction line (evap to compressor)
discharge line (compressor to condensor)
liquid line (drier to evaporator)
I did a lame retrofit some years ago which included a compressor and a drier. I want to be sure that the right amount of oil is added to the system. I plan on removing the compressor and draing the oil. The only part of the system that will not be removed is the condensor. So I plan to add one ounce for the drier, one ounce for the evaporator, and two ounces for the compressor. Does this sound okay?
