So, I've got a rather strange problem, at least in my experience. Any input would be appreciated!
Whenever I turn into a driveway/parking lot entrance/etc I get a terrible squeak/squeal from the driver's side front wheel/suspension (hard to pinpoint). I've tried compressing the suspension when the car is stopped to see if there is any binding against the wheel well, but I can't see any. I get no squeak during any other driving conditions. I do have clunking coming from the front end when turning or going over bumps but I'm going to be replacing the front bushings in the near future, so if these are to blame for the squeak/squeal noise, that would be good to know. I figured if I'm going to have the suspension apart, I might as well fix the squeak/squeal issue if I can!
The rims on the car are 16" Volvo wheels with 55 height tires and stock (albeit old) springs and shocks.
Thanks to all in advance!
