Hi guys - a couple of folks here have been a huge help so I decided to "follow" them over and start engaging with you guys.


I have a 1968 122s with some rot issues but what I believe to be a healthy B20 engine, which unfortunately is attached to an automatic. I was lucky enough to find a really solid 1965 122s shell that I'm planning on moving all the solid bits over to and building up as a M41 O/D. So, what does this have to do with color? Well I'm going to pull the engine out of the 1968 and seems kind of dumb (even for me) to put it into the 1965 without first painting the 1965 engine bay since it is already stripped and only needs to be cleaned.

So, if I'm going to paint it I might as well paint it the body color the rest of the car will be some day....
