Hello all--I remember someone--was it you, JohnMC?--writing about their cracked lower control arms; I remember Belinda looking for replacements...and I remember thinking, how could these really crack like that? This will surely never happen to me...

Now that it's happened, I am curious to know if anyone's come up with a welding solution to strengthen the arm at this weak joint. Maybe just welding the rest of the seam? I remember a link about modified suspension parts on 544 rally cars but can't locate it.

Check your control arms!! The clean used replacement arms I ordered? One of those is cracked too! Best, Nate
