1990 down pipe interchangebility 200

My 5 year old down pipe is broken at the swivel flange. It's an EGR version which seems to add substantially to the replacement cost. The EGR pipe was pinched and cut off by a muffler shop a couple of years ago as it was leaking. Has anyone done a conversion to the cheaper non EGR equipped down pipe with swivel flange? Are the lengths or dimensions different? Would this entail changing the cast iron manifold? I'm in Ohio where the rust bug is active...particularly on the exhaust on my car. I'm afraid to change manifolds as I'm sure half the studs will break off in the head.

The last down pipe came from FCP and I wasn't too keen on the fit. It was an inch or two longer then the original and forced me o twist the cat so that it wouldn't rattle against the underbody.

Thanks in advance for any input.
