Can't get front rotors off 700 1991

91 740 Turbo wagon Girling ABS brakes. I cannot get the rotors off. The Girling brakes are the easiest pad replacement I've seen. Much more straight forward than my other cars. But the rotors are frozen on solid. Is there a trick to getting them off other than banging the @##32$% out of them with a hammer.(Luckily I'm replacing them so no worry). But still I'd like to know the proper way. I notice that they have holes in between the studs. they all look like they stop at the hub, except one has 6mm threads. Does that have something to do with getting them off? If not any tips appreciated.

BTW: This is a fantastic resource for all us that want to work on their own vehicles.
