rear speedo sender removal 900 1994

speedo failure issue....
trying to disconnect the rear connector on the differential case but am stymied. There is a 5mm allen bolt removed easily enough, but the sender is still connected... It now pivots on an unknown axis. Any ideas what is holding the sender to the differential?
