Symptom: Car would start fine cold or after sitting for a couple hours or more. Ran at high idle for about a minute then stalled w/o sputter. Would restart maybe twice, run for seconds, stall again and not restart w/o sitting till cold. It did this with AMM plugged and unplugged.
Resolution: I ruled everything else out, so it was on to the idle air valve. BlueGoose was the only one that said idle air valve. Resistance tested out of spec and valve moved but not freely. I took it apart, and it was very greasy inside. I cleaned it, repaired one of the hoses and swabbed them out. I also found a crack in the vacuum hose on the fuel pressure regulator. Car runs pretty good now. I just drove it 30 miles w/o incident. Very tight all around.
Way to go, BlueGoose. Thanks for all the input, brickboard.
