Bad fuel economy, check engine light: Bad fuel line pressure regulator? 200 1990

Hi Everyone,

I have a 1990 240 wagon. It's a federal car: LH-2.4 fuel injection system.

Suddenly, I have really bad fuel economy and the check engine light has come on.

Here are the codes I'm getting and what my Robert Bentley manual says they mean:

2-3-2 "Fuel system compensating for rich or lean air/fuel mixture at idle"
1-1-3 "Fault in fuel injector(s)"
2-2-1 "Fuel system compensating for extremely rich or extremely lean air/fuel mixture at cruise"

I put the the system into check and all of the injectors are clicking.

I saw that there was a broken vacuum line going into the fuel line pressure regulator which I then fixed, but it did not fix the problem.

I'm guessing that my fuel line pressure regulator is bad. Does anyone have any thoughts on that or any other idea about what might be the problem?

Thanks!
