shift linkage bushing--shifter end pin rusted in place. options? 200

tried to replace the shift linkage bushings today. the front (tranny end) one went easy enough.

however the shifter end (toward the rear) bushing pin is rusted in place. making things worse, taking the shifter end linkage off was impossible due to lack of room between end of stud and transmission tunnel to take the nut off. couldn't move the stud either because the shifter bin was held in place by rusted screws/nuts too.

what options do i have? is there any trick to loosen that bushing pin? thanks.
