BUMPER Compatibility - 1993 940 900

Group - Have a 1993 940 Turbo with some damage to the front & rear bumpers. I've been wanting to replace these for quite some time, and have a question.. The bumpers that are currently on my car are the flat plastic/non-painted version and I'd like to upgrade. I know that Volvo, intermittently, offered painted/body color bumpers on some of their 1991 940s and most of the 960s for most years, pre-1995. Are all 900 bumpers interchangeable across all model years including the pre-1995 960 if I can find a painted one? Interesting that the 940s had them even in 1993 in Sweden, as evidence here: http://www.garaget.org/?car=134762
