Hello, I have checked some of the posts but couldn't find a "hard start" post with a similar symptom:

After driving the car, if I stop and turn the engine off and then try to restart within a few minutes, it struggles to start. It sounds like the battery is almost dead (however the battery is brand new!).

It struggles but finally catches and starts. I'm worried it is putting too much load on the starter though. Once the car is running it runs wonderful. Not stops or stalls.

Could it be the voltage reg or something electrical? I just noticed a belt squeal starting up this morning.

Thanks for any advice.
