Hello,

On long drives, the carpet on the front passenger side gets wet when the AC is on. I have read the FAQ on this issue. The evaporator drain seems to work - there is water coming out of it. I need to try and clean it well, though. When removing leaves from the Heater/AC fan area a couple of years ago, I noticed a hole drilled in the bottom of the plastic cover for the fan. Would this cause water to leak onto the carpet? I am not sure of the geometry of the tubing etc.

The car is a 1993 945T
