noisy main fuel pump 900

its the main pump under driver seat, screaming again. was a bosch from FCP from 4 years ago, seems a bit soon to need a new one, poss filter plugged ? dont think so due to engine running normally with full power. or I am thinking pre-pump in tank, not sure. any ideas ? so far a new main pump and filter are my diagnosis.
