Hi everyone!
I started scrapping out my 86 sedan when my co-workers old truck died and I before I knew it the parts were back on and the old girl is once again pounding out the miles. The car only had 155k miles on her but getting quite rusty which is why I had retired her.My buddy is happier than a pig in sh*t driving her and is now a "brickster" for the first time.I am now down to 2 drivers,88 sedan 128k miles, auto,no rust and my new one the 89 wagon with 78,000k miles,m47,except for a few scratches, just like new,and a 84 parts wagon that I just bought from down the street for $20.00.The only issue with the wagon is a whine when slowing down the rear dif (car purchased at auction)once you get up to 40-60 mph.I have had bricks for many years and never had a rear end issue until this one.I have heard these are expensive to rebuild and a friend from the city spotted a 89 sedan with the m47 at the pick @ pull(180k miles). Are these easier to pull as one unit or take the dif out at the yard.Any help with this would be great.
