My '93 needs a freon charge: how to do it? 200 1993

'93 245 w/ 207,000 miles and factory R134 refrigerant.....

My car needs a charge and since the R134 is relatively cheap and aundant, I was thinking about buying a recharge kit from auto zone and doing it myself. I need to know if I should replace the dessicant dryer and/or the lubricant??? I've never recharged a car efore....but I recall that the high and low side pressure connections are important.....and that overcharging can e damaging. Can someone point me to a quick procedure for the process??

thanks,
Cabbie
