1991 Turbo 940 Sedan - Automatic - Electrical or Fuel Issue??? Help a Bro Out

Whats up guys?

I just picked up another brick. 1991 940 Automatic Turbo Sedan. This is my 1st 900 series and so far the car really runs nice and smooth much like my 240's but so much different. More luxurious feeling.

Anyway here is my main pressing issue. - The car will wile driving suddenly loses power. It doesnt die but the RPM's drop, power drops and it feels like its searching for something. It happened 3 times during a 150 mile drive. The first 2 times it did it, it only lasted for 2-3 seconds and kicked right back into running smooth again. The 3rd time it happened I lost power (not shutdown, just no acceleration) for closer to 10 seconds. I put it in neutral and 2nd and gave it some gas but nothing happened. After the 8-10 seconds it finally caught and kicked in and everything was fine. The worst part is you just dont know or have any warning when this is going to happen. There is no pattern that is causing this issue. The PO said It might need a new distributor but my research on back post and the FAQ's say this year and model doesn't have a Hall Sensor in the distributor but it uses the RPM Sensor. Does this sound like a RPM Sensor issue? I initially thought it was in the in-tank fuel pump but now not so much. Any help or advice appreciated.
