Bumper Gouged 200

My car was banged up a bit by a parking lot hit-and-run driver at the gym this morning. It appears that the only damage sustained was superficial – the turn signal lens was cracked and the corner bumper gouged a bit. Question – what’s the best way to clean up bumper gouges? Does anyone have any experience?
