I NEED ADVICE FROM THOSE THAT KNOW VOLVOS 200 1983

I'm considering having it towed to a garage and working on it myself...

I like the idea of buying a rebuilt engine and dropping it in myself.
BUT
A) i've never done this before
B)I have no idea the cost and labor involved


INSIGHT PLEASE???


HOW MUCH SHOULD I EXPECT TO PAY A MECHANIC TO REPLACE THE CRANKSHAFT OR PUT IN A NEW ENGINE????
